POSITION SUMMARY: The Inventory Control Clerk will maintain the department’s inventory, ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all procurements. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Establish minimum and maximum inventory levels, re-order points and turn-around times on items kept in stock. Work closely with management to submit order requests. Receive, verify quantities and store all goods purchased. Maintains consistent stock of inventory, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limits as inventory dwindles. Establishes and maintains backup source for high-demand items. Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery. Provides inventory reports to leadership. Maintains communication with internal stakeholders on inventory status. Manages and maintains inventory system. Conducts frequent spot and monthly audits of physical inventory. ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred Degree: N/A Certificate(s) or License(s): Valid MO or AR Driver’s License Years of experience: 2 years or equivalent KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY: Excellent communication skills with facilities admin. Basic understanding of inventory control systems and procedures. Proficient keyboarding skills. Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision. Ability to develop professional relationships with coworkers. Ability to perform basic math calculations. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Occasional travel to pick up materials as needed. Occasional travel to storage closets. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Regularly walks, sits, stands and does computer work. Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.
