About The Position

Position Overview: The Inventory Control Clerk will be responsible for taking/entering customer orders, monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, conducting regular inventory audits, The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained. Take/enter customer orders Conduct regular inventory audits to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies. Coordinate with purchasing and receiving departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of inventory. Update inventory records and databases to reflect current stock levels and movements. Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies as required. Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy. Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies through investigation and reconciliation. Coordinate with other departments to fulfill inventory requests and ensure timely delivery of goods. Perform routine cycle counts and physical inventory checks to maintain inventory accuracy. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies related to inventory management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in inventory control or related field.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with inventory control system such as SAP, AS400 or similar
