The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for assisting the Production Supervisor Receiving in ensuring the timely and accurate reporting inventory quantities. Essential Functions: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position: Monitor and maintain current inventory levels. Tracks orders and investigates problems. Performance physical count of inventory and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports such as Put Away and Shrink reports. Re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves. Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry. May lead, guide, and train staff performing related work. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Location items in shrink off of daily report. Collaborate with warehouse employees to ensure that cycle counts are completed. Investigate inventory errors and perform corrective measures. Regular, reliable attendance is required as work cannot be performed remotely. Other duties may be assigned, directed or requested. Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately. • Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of assigned electric powered material handling equipment including Sit Down Forklift, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Pallet Jack, Pallet Stacker and Pallet Jack to support all facets of a high-volume distribution center. Perform Forklift Operator Daily Checklists on assigned equipment.
