About The Position

Olive Branch Boutique is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Associate to oversee inventory accuracy across our boutique and online sales operations. This role is critical to maintaining inventory integrity, supporting sales growth, and improving operational efficiency. This position is ideal for someone who is analytical, tech-savvy, and proactive in identifying discrepancies and process improvements. Experience with both physical inventory and e-commerce inventory systems is strongly preferred.

Requirements

Proven experience in inventory control, inventory management, or a related role
Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and software
Experience managing e-commerce inventory and online sales platforms
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
Strong communication and cross-department collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of supply chain, retail, or warehouse operations is a plus
Shopify/SKU Savvy experience

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage inventory levels to support retail and online sales needs
Perform regular inventory counts, including cycle counts and audits
Investigate, document, and resolve inventory discrepancies
Maintain accurate inventory records within inventory management systems
Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and sales teams to forecast inventory demand
Develop and improve inventory control procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy
Prepare inventory reports and communicate findings to management
Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory control standards
Identify opportunities to reduce inventory costs and minimize loss
Manage and update inventory for the boutique’s online ordering platform
Ensure online product listings, stock levels, pricing, and descriptions are accurate
Partner with the e-commerce team to resolve stock shortages and fulfillment issues
Analyze online sales data to identify trends and support inventory planning decisions
