About The Position

The position involves various responsibilities related to inventory control and warehouse operations. The individual will assign pick locations for maximum optimization, perform functions of the DC allocation process, reconcile receiving documents to accounting reports, verify inventory locations, and resolve issues in various areas such as bust-out, stock decks, and cycle counts. The role also includes data entry, auditing operations, processing merchandise returns, and maintaining safety and confidentiality in the workplace. The Team Member will work in a climate-controlled office atmosphere but may also be exposed to non-climate controlled environments and hazardous materials. Shift work is required, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • High school education preferred.
  • Four to six months clerical or similar work experience in a Retail Distribution or Warehouse environment preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
  • Working knowledge of WMS preferred.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, and rarely up to 50 pounds.
  • Adequate fitness level to meet the demands of frequent lifting, walking, standing, moderate climbing of stairs, occasional sitting, stooping, and kneeling.
  • Ability to operate P.I.T. equipment that raises the Team Member on a platform to heights of up to 50 feet.
  • Must use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as per Distribution Center requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Performs data entries and updates reports accurately.
  • Verifies and releases breakdowns accurately.
  • Counts locations as assigned or requested accurately.
  • Audits operations departments as assigned by management.
  • Processes all merchandise returns to vendor.
  • Re-tickets/re-packages merchandise as instructed.
  • Completes the daily P.I.T. checklist to ensure equipment is working properly.
  • Operates P.I.T. equipment in a safe manner.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Follows set safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintains an organized work area and promotes a safe working environment.
  • Follows all Company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
