Your Opportunity: Taylor Visual Impressions is looking for an Inventory Control Analyst to join our team in our Duluth, GA! This position is responsible for monitoring daily inventory activity, reviewing stock levels, and adjusting shipment plans to keep products flowing accurately and on time. This role supports production, purchasing, and warehouse teams by ensuring inventory records are accurate and that materials and finished goods are available when needed. Work Authorization: To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, supply chain, or a related area
  • Working knowledge of inventory practices such as cycle counting, lot tracking, and FIFO/FEFO
  • Basic understanding of material flow in a distribution or manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems; ability to enter and update transactions accurately
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies quickly
  • Comfortable analyzing spreadsheets and basic inventory data
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet daily deadlines
  • Good communication skills for interacting with warehouse staff, production personnel, and supervisors

Responsibilities

  • Review daily inventory reports to identify shortages, overages, and discrepancies.
  • Update and revise shipment schedules based on product availability, customer orders, and production plans.
  • Investigate inventory variances and work with warehouse staff to resolve issues such as miscounts, misplaced items, or incorrect transactions.
  • Monitor product demand trends and production output to recommend reorder points and safety stock adjustments.
  • Run routine cycle counts and assist with month‑end and year‑end physical inventory activities.
  • Enter and update item data within the ERP system (e.g., quantities on hand, locations, reorder levels, open orders).
  • Coordinate with purchasing to ensure incoming materials arrive in time to support production needs.
  • Track aging or slow‑moving inventory and escalate items that require review or disposition.
  • Prepare simple reports for the manager to summarize key metrics such as shortages, on‑time shipments, inventory accuracy, and order fill rates.
  • Work with carriers or logistics teams to follow up on delayed or missing shipments.
  • Maintain documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
