The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for analyzing inventory levels, usage patterns, and historical trends to recommend stock replenishment or reduction strategies. This role involves monitoring daily inventory transactions, reconciling discrepancies between physical and system records, and identifying root causes of inventory variances. The analyst will collaborate with operations and warehouse teams to implement corrective actions and develop inventory-related reports and dashboards. Additionally, the position requires tracking and supporting cycle counts, physical inventories, and related reconciliation activities, as well as ensuring alignment between inventory strategy and demand forecasts.

  • Analyze inventory levels, usage patterns, and historical trends to recommend stock replenishment or reduction strategies.
  • Monitor daily inventory transactions and reconcile discrepancies between physical and system records.
  • Identify root causes of inventory variances and work with operations and warehouse teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain inventory-related reports and dashboards (e.g., inventory aging, turnover, cycle count accuracy, excess/obsolete stock).
  • Track and support execution of cycle counts, physical inventories, and related reconciliation activities.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and planning teams to ensure alignment between inventory strategy and demand forecasts.
  • Monitor safety stock, reorder points, and lead time to support inventory optimization initiatives.
  • Evaluate and enhance inventory control processes, including documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist with ERP or inventory management system updates, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
  • Support audits, compliance, and inventory control policy enforcement.
  • Leads/Works special projects with minimal supervision.
  • Adheres to all Safe Work Practices and organizational policies and procedures set forth by the Company.
  • Bachelor's degree in Inventory Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 1-5 years' experience in inventory function is preferred.
  • Experience in physical inventories is preferred.
  • Basic ERP and WMS knowledge is preferred.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office; Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams.
  • Advanced Excel capability.
  • Can work comfortably with all levels of management and personnel.
  • Must possess creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Able to interpret semi-complex data.
  • Valid driver's license / insurable under the company insurance policy.
