About The Position

The Senior Inventory Control Analyst works to increase corporate profitability by developing and providing financial analysis, which assists in the understanding of SBU and corporate revenue cost elements, measures performance, and fortifies accountability. This entails resolving transactional issues and improving overall productivity throughout the Certified transaction process, proactively seeking process improvement opportunities through collaboration with Certified Business Management, and active partnership with contributors and leaders throughout the organization. Additionally, the Inventory Control Analyst will work closely with high-level management, develop ad-hoc reports to analyze business trends, and take an active role in the company profit improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 -7-year experience working with Inventory Data Analysis and Supply chain environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance is preferred.
  • Statistics background/education is a plus.
  • Familiar with medical device pricing structure and resale.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations.
  • Global Logistics knowledge a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical/problem solving skills.
  • APICS affiliation a plus.
  • Experience in Medical Device industry is a plus.
  • Computer experience (Word, Excel, Power Point, SQL, Access, Power BI, Tableau, SAP).
  • Detail oriented, multi-task, communication skills across entire organization (internal and external).

Responsibilities

  • Expedite inbound materials; provide targeted receipt dates, and work with the business manager for resolution on any issues.
  • Research and resolve material receipt discrepancies for return inventories.
  • Assist with pricing research and updates to price list.
  • Administer the collection of trade-in materials, both directly and/or through external partners.
  • Schedule logistics -install/shipments to ensure proper pickup and delivery.
  • Liaison to scrap partner vendor for all relevant transactions.
  • Publish and distribute monthly inventory report to sales organizations and sales management including Demo, Trending, Certified and 3PL performance.
  • Maintain and distribute analytical insight, via reporting, for inbound and received inventory, as well as inventory availability, for both ZEISS and third parties, on weekly and monthly basis.
  • Create Dashboards through Power BI and Tableau reports.
  • Track, manage and communicate progress on assigned projects as requested by the Certified Business Management.
  • Monitor inventory levels and aging to identify potential E & O.
  • Create quarterly summary reports and trend analysis to solve complex business issues.
  • Contribute to solving complex business issues through data analysis.
  • Design, publish, and continually identify opportunities and improvements with existing processes and procedures.
  • Ongoing identification of shrink reduction opportunities.
  • Provide top analysis on inventory consumption, variance, and reconciliations.
