About The Position

The position involves providing analysis and planning for the future slotting of new merchandise prior to its arrival. The role requires conducting slot capacity analysis to ensure that slots can accommodate at least one week of sales. Additionally, the position entails executing major slot movement activities to accommodate new SKUs and repairing aisles that perform poorly due to product additions and deletions. Daily interaction with store management is necessary to resolve shipping discrepancies, product disparities, and other accounting-related problems.

Requirements

• Two to three years of experience in distribution.
• Computer literate in Excel spreadsheet manipulation and general query structure.
• Certified in Powered Industrial Equipment, specifically Stock Pickers and Reach Lifts.

Responsibilities

• Provides analysis and planning for future slotting of new merchandise prior to arrival.
• Conducts slot capacity analysis to ensure slots hold at least one week of sales.
• Executes major slot movement activities to accommodate new SKUs and repair poorly performing aisles.
• Interfaces daily with store management to resolve shipping discrepancies and product disparities.
• Develops, manipulates, and runs system queries to analyze slot capacity, demand, and overall placement.
• Pre-slots new items, ensuring product location within two weeks from product arrival.
• Consolidates vendor categories and merges with similar vendors to optimize operational flow.
