As the leader in classic car consignment and sales, Gateway Classic Cars is continuing our growth and expansion trajectory. We are seeking dynamic and results-oriented candidates to join our team. The Inventory Consultant serves as the brand ambassador at the local level and is responsible for increasing the showroom inventory by acquiring new and repeat consignment business. This role involves acquiring vehicles through various online sources and in-person events, ensuring that our showrooms are stocked with a diverse range of classic and exotic cars. The Inventory Consultant will engage in a variety of outreach activities, including attending car shows and cruises, meeting with car shops, and participating in car club meetings. A significant part of the role involves making a minimum of 125 outbound calls weekly, along with additional points of contact through texts and emails. Building customer rapport is essential, starting from the first contact and continuing through the consignment process. The consultant will also be responsible for managing consignment paperwork, customer renewals, and hosting car club shows and meetings at our location. Additionally, the Inventory Consultant will work at Gateway Caffeine and Chrome events and the Holiday Party, and may occasionally be asked to train new Inventory Consultants or provide backup to other showrooms, which may require some travel. Teamwork is crucial, and the consultant will be expected to back up other employees as needed.
