About The Position

Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment by performing the following duties.

Requirements

  • 1 year Stock or warehouse experience.
  • Required Experience with food service stock or warehouse experience.
  • Drivers License - DMV Current Valid Driver’s License and Clean MVR with 3-year baseline and annual MVR review.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, packing lists, safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. (Required proficiency)
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. (Required proficiency)
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. (Required proficiency)
  • Basic understanding and ability to use excel spreadsheets, e-mail and data entry programs. (Required proficiency)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating automatic pallet truck.

Responsibilities

  • Rotate and stock all inventory.
  • Date all perishable items.
  • Receive products & check for quantity, quality and minimum temperature requirements.
  • Pull and record food products per production pull sheets.
  • Distribute stock to other areas of hospital and clinics.
  • Maintain and operate an automatic walking counterbalance lift truck, manual pallet jack, handcart and dolly.
  • Drive a delivery vehicle.
  • Maintain an acceptable level of cleanliness and safety of dock and storage areas.
  • As directed will assist with inventories, assign ledger accounts to invoices and input daily food statistics.
  • Monitor freezer/cooler temperatures and report temperature discrepancies.
  • Must be able to work cooperatively with all other employees.
  • Must be dependable, have good personal hygiene habits and be neat and professional in appearance.
  • Complies with all policies, standards, mandatory training and requirements of Stormont Vail Health
  • Performs other duties as assigned
