About The Position

An inventory clerk tracks, organizes, and records a company’s incoming and outgoing products or materials. They ensure inventory counts are accurate, update records, and help maintain proper stock levels to support smooth operations.

Requirements

  • Physical Requirements
  • The ability to lift, bend, stoop, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs
  • Be on Feet 8 to 12 hours shifts
  • Work outside all day in heat or cold
  • Push and Pull 30 lbs.
  • Lift 30-80 lbs.
  • The ability to keep or regain your body balance or stay upright when in an unstable position.
  • Work overtime and mandatory Saturday’s when scheduled

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the receiving all raw materials, equipment and other supplies needed for the company to run.
  • Maintaining inventory items & Tool Room Stock Levels: To work with production, scheduling, purchasing on the generation of all lists required for stock items & long lead time items.
  • Receiving: To work with material handlers to ensure that all procedures are followed so that all incoming materials are delivered to the proper department and also submit paperwork to the proper areas of data entry.
  • Inventory & Production Reporting: Responsible for maintaining the NAPCO part numbering system and that setups are done properly for all inventory items.
  • Read tape measure
  • Basic knowledge of use of hand and power tools.
  • Transport parts to bed locations and track quantities.
  • Be willing and able to learn how to operate a sit down forklift
  • Hand out PPE & Tools to employees
  • Cleaning Chucks
  • Work with a team.
