About The Position

Partners Personnel has partnered with a growing leader in the warehouse industry in Jacksonville, FL. We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock levels, and ensuring smooth inventory operations within the warehouse.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Proficient with inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Track and record inventory levels, including stock receipts, transfers, and adjustments.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
  • Monitor inventory levels and alert management when stock is low or when issues arise.
  • Input and update inventory data into the management system with accuracy.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of inventory transactions such as purchase orders, receipts, and shipments.
  • Prepare and generate inventory status reports, including stock levels and turnover rates.
  • Assist in organizing inventory storage areas to ensure efficient use of space and accessibility.
  • Verify the accuracy of received goods and ensure proper storage and labeling.
  • Assist in disposing of obsolete or expired inventory in accordance with company policies.
  • Process and fulfill inventory requests from various departments.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any order-related issues.
  • Inspect inventory for damage or discrepancies and report to management.
  • Work closely with warehouse staff, procurement teams, and other departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Identify areas for improvement in inventory management processes and recommend solutions.
  • Assist with implementing best practices for inventory control.
