The Inventory Clerk position at Kane Logistics involves working under the direction of the Inventory Supervisor to manage inventory processes effectively. Essential functions of the job include conducting daily cycle counts for assigned locations, monitoring and controlling inventory integrity through inbound and outbound audits, and ensuring inventory accuracy to meet both internal and external client demands. The Inventory Clerk will partner with inbound and outbound clericals to research inventory discrepancies promptly and report any discrepancies or damaged products to Operations Supervisors for resolution. Maintaining product identification and location accuracy within the facility is crucial, as is the ability to operate equipment within the facility. The role also requires a proactive approach to innovation and leadership in daily tasks, with a commitment to high-quality work and flexibility to work overtime when necessary. Additionally, the workstation must be kept clean and organized to promote efficiency and safety.
