About The Position

This Inventory Clerk-Warehouse position is a short-term role, approximately 6 months in duration, working Monday through Friday for 8 hours a day, with the potential to lead to a long-term opportunity. The role involves maintaining the production and distribution of products by managing inventory, delivering materials, staging finished products for shipping, moving and organizing inventory, and operating machinery.

Requirements

  • Able to use paper logs and bar code scanners.
  • Able to lift and maneuver packages of a minimum of 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
  • Able to stand for 8 hours.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Need to be able to receive instructions and follow directions.

Nice To Haves

  • 6+ months experience in an Industrial setting.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product for shipping; moving and organizing inventory as needed; operating machinery to move items.
  • Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
  • Issue material at the counter.
  • Unload trucks with pallet jack, moving material with hand truck, and loading material on shelves.
  • Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
  • Document materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
  • Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
  • Document product shipment by recording units shipped.
  • Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
