This Inventory Clerk-Warehouse position is a short-term role, approximately 6 months in duration, working Monday through Friday for 8 hours a day, with the potential to lead to a long-term opportunity. The role involves maintaining the production and distribution of products by managing inventory, delivering materials, staging finished products for shipping, moving and organizing inventory, and operating machinery.

Requirements

Able to use paper logs and bar code scanners.
Able to lift and maneuver packages of a minimum of 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
Able to stand for 8 hours.
Good interpersonal skills.
Good verbal communication skills.
Need to be able to receive instructions and follow directions.

Nice To Haves

6+ months experience in an Industrial setting.

Responsibilities

Maintain production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product for shipping; moving and organizing inventory as needed; operating machinery to move items.
Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
Issue material at the counter.
Unload trucks with pallet jack, moving material with hand truck, and loading material on shelves.
Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
Document materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
Document product shipment by recording units shipped.
Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
Other duties as assigned.
