About The Position

The Inventory Clerk I position at Panasonic Energy of North America involves recording and maintaining control of various inventory across the facility while ensuring compliance with established internal control procedures. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree in Business preferred.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Detail-oriented with 2+ years of relevant experience required.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (Japanese) preferred.
  • Working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking.

Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain control of various inventory across the facility.
  • Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures.
  • Perform data entry relating to inventory receipts, transfers, production, and adjustments.
  • Verify clerical computation against physical count of stock and adjust errors in computation or count.
  • Prepare reports such as inventory balance, safety stock calculations, demand rates, price lists, and shortages.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end physical inventories.
  • Communicate cross-functionally to resolve any issues.
  • Ensure timely and accurate generation and sending of inventory/production/shipping/receiving reports.
  • Perform weekly inventory reconciliations of spare parts.
  • Enter production into client system to announce new lot codes for finished goods and track product lots used in production.
  • Assist other departments and/or clients with inventory-related questions or requests for information.
  • Maintain and order production supplies.
  • Track cancelled and reduced POs for scrapping/recovery for payment on DOs.
  • Willing to work overtime and/or weekends as requested by Supervisor.
