About The Position

The Inventory Clerk is primarily responsible for managing incoming and outgoing products and supplies and maintaining the location's inventory records, including quantity and material value. The role requires compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state, and federal regulations. The work schedule is from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM, and the position is full-time with a pay rate of $20/hour plus a $1,500 Sign & Stay Bonus, with benefits available from the first day of hire.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with inventory counts or previous Wayne Farms position.
• Intermediate math and computer skills.
• Detail oriented, with ability to organize and maintain records.
• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shift hours.
• Sound work ethic, honesty, and moral character.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing product and supply inventory under general supervision.
• Compile and maintain records of type, quantity, and value of material or supplies stocked in the establishment.
• Count material or supplies in stock and post totals to inventory records manually or via computer.
• Compare physical and computer inventories with records, investigate and report reasons for discrepancies (overages or missing).
• Prepare reports on price lists, inventory balance, and shortages.
• Work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
