About The Position

The Inventory Clerk is the floor level inventory and quality representation for the Quality departments. You will work with inventory movements, quality metrics, and assist in investigations of inventory and quality discrepancies. This job will work in loose pick, full case and full pallet storage areas.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED, college degree preferred
  • 2 years previous experience in inventory and/or quality control
  • Prior working knowledge of WMS or ERP

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with WMS, with an emphasis on inventory control and slotting
  • Manhattan experience is a plus
  • Efficient with Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of SAP and inventory control experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform cycle counts
  • Manage daily inventory by reviewing and reconciling daily cuts
  • Review and conduct cleansing of 999 Inventory and investigate discrepancies
  • Prepare monthly quality reports
  • Work with the Quality Manager to find root cause on quality and inventory discrepancies
  • Prepare aged products for destruction
  • Execution of smushes
  • Monitor replenishments
  • Assist in planning and execution of the annual physical inventory
