About The Position

The position involves working with multiple departments to accomplish financial and key results, striving to improve auditing processes and efficiencies. Responsibilities include conducting staff meetings, attending sales meetings, handling asset protection team communications, and implementing special projects for the asset protection team. The role also requires performing and scheduling Red Flag Merchandise and Cash audits, reviewing and approving time sheets, mileage logs, expense reports, and other internal paperwork, ensuring compliance with start time and travel policies. Additionally, the position involves maintaining staff by recruiting, selecting, and orientating employees, as well as managing staff performance through training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. The role emphasizes increasing professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, reading professional publications, and networking with other departments. The job duties may change with or without advanced notice, and the employee is expected to contribute to team efforts by achieving financial and key result area targets as per company guidelines.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Inventory auditing experience.
  • Retail experience in a convenience store environment.
  • Valid driver's license with no major offenses.
  • Willingness to travel and agree to occasional overnight travel.
  • Ability to follow state, federal, and company guidelines.
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Proficient in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
