About The Position

Major Food Distributor located in Hunts Point Cooperative Market in the Bronx is looking for a Full-Time Inventory Associate. The Inventory Associate is responsible for the verification, accuracy, processing and management of warehouse product inventory. Inventory data processing required while keeping inventory information correct and accurate. Documentation of product supplier/inventor, counts and other relevant information Verify Inventory management information accuracy Ensure all working and common areas are kept clean and organized Learn and retain product knowledge and specifications Effectively work in cooperation with safety department staff and management on duties assigned Performs related duties as assigned. Qualifications Physical Requirements: Sedentary – May exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Force occasionally or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Regularly required to use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, reach, and/or carry. This is a fast-paced environment
