Inventory Associate Location: Duluth, GA, USA - 2975 Evergreen Drive Shift - Monday to Friday - 8am-4:30pm Note - Shift subject to change based on the needs of the business. OT may be required and is mandatory if required. Requirements

  • Typically requires 1+ years of related experience
  • 1 year of inventory experience in a warehouse/DC environment (internals must have 6 months of service to qualify)
  • Strong systems and computer skills. Must be able to efficiently and effectively use office software including Excel, Word, MS Teams, Outlook at a basic to intermediate level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to partner with external and internal members
  • Basic math skills
  • Passion and commitment to the success of the team and individuals
  • High degree of flexibility needed, to meet challenges of working in a high-intensity environment with constantly changing priorities
  • Must be capable of working independently and self-directed with minimal oversight from management
  • Good critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be comfortable working at heights
  • Must be comfortable working in refrigerated areas when required
  • Ability to walk up to 10 miles throughout the course of a shift (steps vary per shift)
  • Ability to lift 20-50 pounds repetitively throughout the course of a shift without assistance; ability to lift greater weights in a team lift (weight varies based on product)
  • May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day.
  • May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day.
  • May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.
  • Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
  • May need to work in cold or refrigerated areas
  • Visual acuity to see and read fine prints.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to hear normal voice sounds
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 warehouse environment

Nice To Haves

  • Power Industrial Equipment experience is preferred ( Reach Truck, Powered Pallet Jack, Cherry Picker ) - location is willing to train, but, must be able to maintain certifications
  • Experience with Accumax preferred

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing expiration dates on all inventory and rotate stock accordingly.
  • Complete daily and monthly expirations reports pulled from Access
  • Reduce inventory loss
  • Help prevent potential product damage to drive overall improvement in production.
  • Ensures that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel.
  • Maintain control over various types of inventories (e.g., raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods).
  • Perform analysis of inventory throughout the production life cycle.
  • Responsible for completing the inventory process including cycle count validations, EC Date Capture, inventory inquiries, recalls, and overall departmental operational functionality daily.
  • Conducts physical inventory validation counts and reconciles results with inventory records.
  • Daily tasks include analyzing, investigating, and correcting inventory discrepancies, and recalls.
  • Corrects discrepancies in goods received into the warehouse.
  • Resolves inventory discrepancies (shortages, damages, and product disposition.)
  • Monitors inventory transactions to ensure accurate receipt and order entry.
  • Resolve inventory variances based off customer correspondence.
  • Monitors all inventory levels and resolve as required.
  • Comply with all FDA and DEA regulations.
  • Maintains quarantine inventory and monitors all quarantined product on hold; collaborate with Quality Assurance to manage market withdraws and recalls.
  • Frequent contact with all departments including warehouse personnel.
  • Frequent customer contact. (Customer call lists)
  • Must interact with other employees, supervisor, and manager.
  • Some external contact with couriers. (Includes Distribution Centers in the network, Customers, and Vendors, etc.)
  • Maintain multiple Excel and Word documents provided to various departments for billing purposes and to account for tracking and trending of inventory per customer.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
