About The Position

TMC Staffing is seeking a cycle counter responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels by regularly counting a sample of products within a warehouse, comparing the physical count to the system records, and investigating any discrepancies to ensure inventory data is reliable; their duties may also include managing deliveries, checking product identification, and reporting on inventory issues. Must have experience working with ERP systems.

Requirements

• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Math skills for calculations and data entry
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
• Physical stamina for extended periods of walking and lifting
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Basic computer skills

• Ability to operate a Forklift preferred

Responsibilities

• Discrepancy investigation: Identifying and researching reasons for inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
• Inventory adjustments: Making necessary adjustments to inventory levels based on discrepancies found.
• Product identification and location management: Ensuring proper labeling and organization of inventory items.
• Reporting: Generating reports on inventory levels, discrepancies, and trends.
• Auditing: Performing periodic audits to verify inventory accuracy
• Damage inspection: Identifying and reporting damaged inventory items
• Communication: Collaborating with warehouse staff and other departments to resolve inventory issues
• Performing cycle counts: Regularly counting specific items of inventory throughout the warehouse according to a predetermined schedule.
• Data entry: Recording counted quantities into the inventory management system.
