About The Position

We are currently recruiting for an Inventory Assistants in the Warehouse at Murdoch Developmental Center. The positions handle the requisitioning, inventory management, and delivery functions for a multi-million dollar operation. The position is located in the Warehouse. This is a full-time position and eligible for the full State benefits package including health insurance, paid sick/vacation/holidays, retirement, etc.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Inventory processes.
• A valid driver's license.
• High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

• Basic computer knowledge in Excel, Word, Email, NCAS and/or E-Procurement.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Possess good math skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in inventory management and physical space relocations.
• Load trucks according to the most efficient route and spot check to ensure the correct supplies are being loaded.
• Deliver supplies to the correct division representative for storage.
• Clean and rotate old stock as necessary, stocking all inventories neatly and by date manufactured.
• Perform any special moving jobs on campus as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of all warehouse areas and condition of vehicles assigned to the warehouse.
• Assist with any special projects as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
