We currently have an exciting opportunity as an Inventory/Assembly Manager. This role is based in our plant in Pineville, North Carolina and reports to the Plant Manager. As Inventory/Assembly Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all distribution, inventory, scheduling, and retail assembly functions within the plant. This role ensures efficient material flow, accurate inventory control, timely production scheduling, and effective team leadership.

Requirements

• Completion of High School College or University in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
• Technical understanding of production planning and inventory systems
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S
• Proficiency in ERP, MES, and Microsoft Office
• Strong leadership, coaching, problem-solving skills and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

• Supervise Scheduling, Inventory, Shipping, Receiving and Compounding departments
• Manage shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of WIP, components, and finished goods
• Oversee inventory control activities including cycle counts, variance investigations, and month-end reporting
• Ensure raw material availability and manage MRB transactions for regrind material
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of WIP racks, component racks, and shipping areas
• Review and investigate Inventory Adjustments (IAs) before submission
• Act as backup to the Plant Scheduler and support production planning activities
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the department
