The Inventory and Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing inventory accuracy and conducting quality inspections within warehouse operations. This role involves leading initiatives to optimize processes while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The supervisor will play a key role in streamlining operations, resolving inventory discrepancies, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

  • Oversee daily inventory operations to ensure accurate and efficient tracking of stock levels, shipments, and returns.
  • Develop and maintain inventory tracking systems to prevent stock discrepancies.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile variances.
  • Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to optimize inventory levels based on demand forecasts.
  • Monitor warehouse storage practices to maintain proper stock rotation and minimize obsolescence.
  • Ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards for all incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Perform inspections on products, materials, and equipment to identify defects or inconsistencies.
  • Investigate and resolve quality complaints or issues promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Train warehouse staff on proper quality control practices and procedures.
  • Generate and analyze reports on inventory levels, trends, and quality metrics.
  • Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements based on inventory and quality data.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, inventory adjustments, and quality incidents.
  • Ensure all inventory and quality control processes adhere to regulatory and company safety standards.
  • Conduct routine checks to verify compliance with storage, handling, and shipping requirements.
  • Participate in safety audits and contribute to corrective action plans when needed.
  • 5 years of experience in inventory and quality control management.
  • Associate degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with inventory auditing and cycle counting.
  • Familiarity with materials management.
