Inventory and Kitting Specialists are responsible for inventory management and control of hardware used in assembly operations. These specialists stock items, initiate inventory order requests as needed, and utilize job order information and work instructions to select, count, and accurately assign hardware counts per customer requirements. Essential Functions To accomplish this job, an individual must be able to perform each essential function. Reads assembly dispatch lists and creates assembly travelers daily; pulls and issues all hardware & components needed for product assembly Reviews product drawings or blueprints to accurately identify applicable specifications and hardware type/size/material Accurately stocks incoming inventory into designated locations; as needed, performs inventory counts on hardware and assembly components Completes appropriate paperwork and data entry in the ERP system, in compliance with internal processes and quality procedures Operates forklift and other material-handling equipment as required; forklift certification on-site may be required Maintains a clean and organized, safe work area Follows directions consistently and accepts responsibility for his/her actions and work product Complies with applicable manufacturing processes, work procedures, and supervisor instructions Adheres to safety guidelines and procedures; proactively identifies job hazards and collaborates with leadership to minimize hazards and ensure employee safety Performs other duties as assigned Regular attendance on-site at the work site is required
