About The Position

Jauqe Bethke Designs is seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Merchandising & Inventory Specialist to support a 4–6 month inventory initiative. This is a hands-on, on-site role focused on locating, verifying, and documenting all inventory pieces in collaboration with our Facilities team. The primary goal of this position is to build a complete and accurate inventory record for every item—ensuring all required details are captured and entered into our Designer Link system, which will ultimately be imported into Thrive. This role requires strong inventory and merchandising experience, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and comfort communicating with vendors to collect missing product information. ✅ Important: This is a 4–6 month contract role with a clear path to full-time employment for the right person. High performance, strong ownership of the project, and continued business needs may lead to a full-time offer at the end of the contract period.

Requirements

Proven experience in inventory management, merchandising, or product operations
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with physical product and data systems simultaneously
Comfortable working on-site in a “boots on the ground” environment (walking inventory, lifting/moving pieces as needed)
Strong communication skills and confidence working with vendors and internal teams
Experience entering product information into inventory systems (Designer Link experience is a plus, not required)
Self-starter mindset with strong organizational and follow-through skills

Responsibilities

Partner with the Facilities team to physically locate inventory pieces and confirm accuracy of all items on hand
Conduct hands-on inventory audits to ensure all pieces are correctly identified and accounted for
Collect and verify product details including (but not limited to):
Item descriptions and category
Dimensions / sizing
Cost and pricing information
Yardage and material details
Vendor and purchase information
Any additional specifications needed for system accuracy
Enter all inventory data into Designer Link with strong attention to detail and consistency
Communicate directly with vendors to obtain missing or incomplete information as needed
Flag discrepancies, missing pieces, or data gaps and work with internal teams to resolve them
Maintain organized documentation and ensure clean, accurate records throughout the project
Support basic merchandising organization and inventory positioning as needed during the process
