The role of the Inventory Analyst is to verify the physical inventory balance on hand for all bulk raw materials, purchase parts and production end items. The main missions of the role are to perform inventory cycle counts based on the ABC class process per stock segmentation, ensure bulk raw materials, purchase parts and production end items are cycled at a minimum once per semester, perform cycle counts on all new model programs, analyze cycle results and process inventory adjustments for in tolerance counts, prepare cycle documentation for management approval, analyze negative balance on hand report daily, perform weekly production scrap audits, assist with engineering change coordination, prepare daily inventory reports for management meeting, and prepare monthly shipment report for all service/production end items.

  • Perform inventory cycle counts based on the ABC class process per stock segmentation.
  • Ensure bulk raw materials, purchase parts and production end items are cycled at a minimum once per semester.
  • Perform cycle counts on all new model programs.
  • Review bill of materials to verify usage accuracy.
  • Analyze cycle results and process inventory adjustments for in tolerance counts.
  • Investigate out of tolerance cycle counts which may include supplier ship history, scrap process or bill of material audit.
  • Prepare cycle documentation for management approval.
  • Retain all documents in accordance to Finance guidelines.
  • Analyze negative balance on hand report daily.
  • Perform weekly production scrap audits to verify accuracy of production scrap process.
  • Assist with engineering change coordination to minimize obsolescence.
  • Prepare daily inventory reports for management meeting.
  • Prepare monthly shipment report for all service/production end items.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Engineering.
  • Experience in production in an industrial environment.
  • Minimum bi-lingual (English required).
  • Knowledge of production planning, manufacturing methods, production/inventory control, and purchasing.
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in production / industrial environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
