About The Position

The Inventory Analyst position is a temporary role within a dynamic beauty brand located in Culver City, CA. The primary focus of this role is to manage inventory levels, ensure product quality, and handle logistical tasks to maintain the flow of inventory and ensure timely distribution across all channels. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills to effectively track and manage inventory processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the beauty or cosmetics industry.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in inventory management systems and Excel.
• Familiarity with batch code tracking and quality control standards.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-departmentally.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all inventory, including stock levels, batch codes, and product quality.
• Monitor and manage inventory transactions, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
• Ensure all products meet quality standards before distribution.
• Track and verify batch codes to comply with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with freight carriers and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of inventory.
• Resolve any shipping or logistics issues, including delays, damage, or discrepancies.
• Manage inventory reservations and allocations to ensure product availability for specific campaigns, events, or customer orders.
• Conduct regular full inventory reconciliations to ensure physical inventory matches system records.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in inventory levels, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Track and report on inventory transactions, including stock movements, transfers, and adjustments.
• Ensure all inventory changes are documented and reported accurately in the system.
