Join our team as an Inventory Analyst in our Distribution Center supporting both military and commercial hardware. In this dynamic role, you'll oversee inventory management and fulfillment operations while ensuring alignment with customer requirements and corporate logistics strategy. You'll play a critical role in supervising daily operations, supporting direct reports, and driving key performance metrics in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee warehouse inventory operations including receiving, storage, and fulfillment
  • Supervise shop floor activity, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and attendance standards
  • Set and communicate daily priorities to meet operational goals and customer needs
  • Conduct monthly cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using CORE, lean, and other methodologies
  • Align with RTX’s Logistics Strategy and support business unit logistics site reviews
  • Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to execute risk mitigation strategies
  • Support special projects to improve service levels, reduce costs, and enhance shipping efficiency
  • Participate in planning processes including SIOP and materials strategy development
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to drive accountability and operational excellence
  • Train and mentor team members on inventory processes and policies

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status)

Nice-to-haves

  • Working experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Working experience with SAP or other ERP system
  • Background in Production and Planning Control fundamentals including MRP, Inventory Management, Capacity Planning, and Scheduling
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and SIOP processes
