About The Position

JOB TITLE: Inventory Analyst and Auditor
LOCATION: Houston, TX
POSITION REPORTS TO: Lubricants Inventory & Audit Manager
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday. 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Some overtime and weekends may be required.
COMPENSATION: Commensurate with skills and experience

Requirements

• Must be local (live within 60 miles)
• Must be a self-starter, dependable, adaptable, flexible and requires minimal supervision
• Hands -on experience with inventory reconciliation and variance analysis
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook programs
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with knowledge of formulas
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including spelling and grammar
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced mathematical skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate physical inventory cycle counts
• Investigate cycle count variances and resolve issues
• Responsible for recording and tracking all documents relating to the physical inventories
• Conduct ongoing process constraint analyses
• Report on periodic variances and their causes, focusing on process improvement
• Prepare and balance book inventory reports
• Assist branches in balancing inventory
• Provide support for yearly audits
• Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by the manager
