About The Position

Mars Petcare is seeking an Inventory Admin to join our unique and exciting pet food business at a Fort Smith, AR, manufacturing plant. We focus on the unique needs of cats and dogs, and our obsession with detail allows us to deliver precise, effective nutrition, helping them become their magnificent best. The purpose of the Inventory Administrative Operator is to perform the clerical and administrative tasks associated with inventory of ARK products. This includes a detailed knowledge of business systems (Excel, Red Prairie, and SAP), report writing, record keeping, and a variety of other activities to ensure Inventory accuracy. This role will be responsible for utilizing site inventory practices to perform necessary cycle counts to ensure physical inventory accuracy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ Years Manufacturing Experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Working Knowledge of ERP software.
• Ability to drive positive changes in both processes, systems, and culture.
• Strong internal and external customer focus with great follow-up.

Nice To Haves

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP software.
• 5+ years production experience.
• Experience in most facets of logistics, including inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Performing & coordinating physical inventory cycle counts for all Raw & Pack materials in Site Warehouse management software in accordance with Mars Cycle count policies.
• Reconciling on-hand Raw & Pack inventories within all Warehouse management systems using ARK methodology.
• Performing & coordinating daily yard check.
• Partnering with Site Mfg. & Conversion Key User to perform WIP Inventory Reconciliations.
• Any other tasks assigned by Line Manager.
