About The Position

Under the direction of the Materials Manager, this position is responsible to lead all aspects of inventory count and transactional accuracy in the Williamsport facility.

Requirements

• Three to five years of cycle counting, and, warehouse or inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical skills required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience in operations, inventory management, MRP and lean manufacturing processes

Nice To Haves

• An Associate’s Degree is preferred
• APICS certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage formalized Cycle Count process
• Manage Scrap Request process
• Manage Reporting process for Cycle Count and Scrap Request results
• Work with ABC analysis to identify and perform, or assign, cycle counts daily
• Responsible that the right number of counts are completed in daily, weekly, and monthly cycles
• Follow approval process for Inventory Adjustments and Scrap Requests
• Research to identify root cause of required adjustments
• Work cross-functionally to correct transactions and/or procedures
• Retrain functions based on results or findings from root cause analysis
• All other duties as Management requires
