About The Position

As an Inventory Accounting & Control Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting inventory accuracy, cost integrity, and operational execution across GOLFTEC. This role is responsible for tracking inventory activity, reconciling COGS to the cost database, validating vendor invoices against database costs, and investigating inventory discrepancies with internal and external partners. You will work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, vendors, and Coaches to ensure inventory-related transactions are accurate, timely, and well controlled. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, analytical, and motivated to improve processes in a growing business.

Requirements

  • Outstanding attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in inventory accounting, inventory control, cost accounting, operations finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with ERP, POS, or inventory systems preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with retail, hard goods, or golf equipment inventory is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Track and reconcile inventory activity across GOLFTEC locations and related channels.
  • Reconcile COGS to the cost database and investigate variances.
  • Reconcile vendor invoices to database costs and resolve pricing discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Partner with vendors, Coaches, and internal teams to follow up on inventory issues, receiving discrepancies, credits, and other exceptions.
  • Investigate differences between physical inventory counts and system records.
  • Support month-end close activities related to inventory, including reconciliations, variance analysis, and journal entry support.
  • Maintain accurate SKU-level inventory and cost data across systems.
  • Coordinate and support cycle counts and physical inventory processes.
  • Assist with demo, retail, and component inventory issue resolution, including RMAs, credits, and liquidation-related tracking.
  • Help develop, document, and improve inventory control procedures and standard operating processes.
  • Provide reporting and analysis to support inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and decision-making.
  • Other duties as assigned.
