About The Position

The Inventory Account Management Supervisor at Cardinal Health is responsible for overseeing a field-based team that manages customer-owned inventory and provides outsourced supply chain services. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 2-4 years of inventory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of acute hospital supply chain operations is a plus.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification or PMP Certification preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills are highly desired.
  • Customer service and account management skills are highly desired.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills are highly desired.
  • Self-motivated with a solution-oriented approach preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills are highly desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is highly desired.
  • Ability to travel about 60% of the time domestically.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a field-based team contracted to handle customer-owned inventory and outsourced supply chain services.
  • Travel for customer projects approximately 40% of the year, with potential travel up to 75% for new customer implementations and team management.
  • Perform daily team management, including PTO and sick coverage, training, and development.
  • Coordinate the transfer and rotation of shared inventory across customer sites.
  • Provide financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Oversee and improve customers' inventory management practices.
  • Conduct business dealings with customers to create a superior customer experience during implementation and account management functions.
  • Develop strong business relationships and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
