As an Invasive Rad Tech in the Heart and Vascular Center, You Will: Provide Expert Support: Demonstrate advanced technical and professional knowledge in patient care, equipment management, and critical thinking within the Heart and Vascular Center. Master Procedures: Assist physicians by providing exceptional imaging, scrubbing into procedures, and expertly handling specialized equipment for diagnostic and urgent interventions. Champion Safety & Quality: Adhere rigorously to radiation safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations, ensuring the highest standards of sterile technique throughout procedures. Operate Advanced Technology: Utilize fine motor skills to assist with sterile placement and use of invasive catheters, wires, balloons, stents, IABP, implantable cardiac devices, and electrophysiology mapping equipment. Monitor & Document: Perform continuous monitoring of cardiac rhythm and hemodynamic waveforms, documenting the entire procedure accurately. Ensure Compliance: Stay current with CPT coding for procedures and adhere to quality control thresholds. Requirements

• North Dakota Licensure: Member of the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Board of Examiners.
• Primary Credential (One of the following): Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) credential from the ARRT.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).
• Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS).
• Basic Life Support (BLS): Required within 480 hours of employment.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS): AHA ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire date.
• Working knowledge of skills obtained in a Cath Lab/EP Lab (relevant clinical experience).

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of experience as an EP Lab Scrub, OR minimum of 1 year of Cardiac Experience in a Cath Lab.
• Cardiac Interventional Certification (CI).
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).
• Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS).
