Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Cardiology required or Associate's Degree in Related Field of Study required and Bachelor's Degree in Related Field of Study preferred.
• 3-5 years of Cardiovascular Technologist Experience required.
• In-depth knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting cardiovascular equipment and imaging systems.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ability to effectively lead a team and mentor junior staff members.

Nice To Haves

• Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support [ACLS (AHA)] preferred.
• Basic Life Support Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist [RCIS].

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and assist during exams.
• Monitor patients’ psychosocial needs and provide education on disease processes.
• Implement discharge planning and documentation.
