About The Position

Markon is seeking an experienced Intrusion Analyst to support our Fort Meade customer. The Intrusion Analyst will analyze sophisticated cyber threats, with a focus on state-sponsored Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs), leveraging SIGINT-derived technical data and customer mission toolsets to detect, assess, and respond to hostile cyber activity.

Requirements

TS/SCI with Active Polygraph with this Customer.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline plus 8years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience supporting a Fort Meade customer.
Deep understanding of cyber threat intelligence, particularly state-sponsored APTs and other advanced adversaries.
Strong proficiency with customer analytic tools and cyber mission systems.
Extensive experience leveraging SIGINT systems for technical cyber data analysis.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex technical data into clear assessments.
Ability to operate effectively in a mission-driven, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Support Fort Meade customer mission operations through intrusion detection, analysis, and reporting.
Analyze cyber threat activity targeting high-value and hard targets, including state-sponsored APTs.
Leverage SIGINT systems to collect, analyze, and exploit technical cyber data.
Use customer-provided analytic and mission toolsets to identify adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
Correlate SIGINT, network, and host-based data to assess intrusions and threat actor behavior.
Produce timely, actionable intrusion and threat intelligence reporting for operational and leadership audiences.
Collaborate with cyber operators, analysts, and mission partners to support defensive and investigative actions.
