The College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Grand Canyon University is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach the course "Introduction to Sport and Exercise Psychology" for the Spring 2025 semester. This course will be conducted in-person at our Phoenix campus from January 6, 2025, to April 27, 2025. The course aims to provide students with a comprehensive overview of the factors that influence participation in both individual and group sports, as well as the outcomes associated with performance in these settings. The curriculum will cover current theories and research in the field, helping students to understand behaviors in sport and performance contexts. Additionally, the course will explore various techniques that can be applied to enhance sport performance. As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for facilitating classroom lectures and discussions, engaging students in the learning process, assessing student performance, and mentoring their success in the classroom. You will also be expected to serve as a positive role model for students by upholding the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and the overall mission of Grand Canyon University.
