About The Position

The Social Science Department at Jefferson Community College is seeking part-time adjunct faculty in Intro to Psychology, on campus and on Fort Drum, to grow our adjunct pool. Candidates may be needed to teach in one or more of the following courses: Introduction to Psychology, Child & Adolescent Development, Lifespan Development. The Department primarily needs instructors for daytime classroom sections, but may occasionally need instructors for evenings or online.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Psychology preferred
• Candidates with a bachelor's degree and at least three graduate-level courses in Psychology will be considered
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with diverse populations
• Foster inclusion and promote equal access and treatment for groups traditionally under-represented in higher education.

Benefits

• Level A - $665/credit hour
• Level B - $785/credit hour after teaching 6 semesters at Jefferson.
