About The Position

We are searching for individuals who are compassionate, serve with a purpose, are dedicated to supporting their team, and who seek excellence every day. This position is full time, days. The shift is Tuesday-Friday 7:00am-4:30pm, with on call usually 1-2 days during the week and 1-2 weekends a month, at Methodist Hospital. Independently performs advanced techniques including; ABR, Cranial mapping, Cortical Mapping, Subcortical Mapping, Phase Reversal, ECOG, ECOG for ADs, DCMEPs as well as, other modalities in and outside the surgical setting (Clinical EPs, EEG/NT, Autonomics, MEG, sEEG, etc). Trains and precepts junior team members. Troubleshoots complex issues and assits others in troubleshooting. Assists in creating programs, reports and guidelines/policies/procedures for the team. Meets patient needs, demonstrate willingness to learn new skills, providing accurate and high quality Neurodiagnostic testing. Promotes a cooperative working relationship with each other, physicians, other disciplines and the public by facilitating and enhancing communication, displaying honesty and respect, displaying sensitivity to cultural differences, and expressing and accepting feedback in a professional manner. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience is required
  • Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Requires registry in CNIM
  • Requires ability to meet all requirements of competencies in which Registries are held, performs advanced techniques in the IONM field
  • Requires initiative towards the application of tests and modifies established protocols to fit patient needs
  • Requires manual dexterity, visual acuity and the ability to concentrate for extended amounts of time under stressful conditions in order to properly and effectively administer Neurophysiological monitoring and testing
  • Requires strong data acquisition, analysis, and troubleshooting skills
  • Requires ability and tolerance to care for patients of all ages
  • Requires current BLS certification
