About The Position
The Intraoperative MRI (iMRI) Coordinator ensures the safe and effective use of iMRI technology in the surgical setting. Serving as the central liaison among surgical, anesthesia, radiology, and nursing teams, this role coordinates workflows, enforces MRI safety standards, and supports high-quality imaging during complex procedures. The Coordinator manages daily operations of the iMRI suite, provides staff training, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives continuous improvement to enhance patient outcomes and operational performance. Performs job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- License/Registration - Issued by Florida or Compact State
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an acute care setting in an administrative, clerical, nursing assistant, or technician role.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary workflows in high-acuity surgical and MRI environments.
