Current employee of the School District of Lee County.
Valid Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED certificate issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find acceptable.

Responsibilities
Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to students.
Organize, supervise, and coordinate all meetings and activities which occur during the normal contractual day and extend beyond the normal contractual day.
Assist in arrangement of transportation, chaperones, security, custodial help, and assistance at all appropriate activities in-county and out-of-county.
Ride the bus to and from activities, staying until the last student leaves from that activity.
Responsible for the care, cleaning, and securing of all school and District property.
Report all accidents/injuries to the Activities/Athletic Director and/or administrator as prescribed by county/FHSAA policies.
Adhere to District policies and procedures; abides by and enforces School Board policies on tobacco, alcohol and drugs.
Coach assigned sport.
Supervise and organize student activities at practice and intramural events and report progress to Director.
Recruit students and publicize activities and start up dates.
Teach and coach the fundamentals of the activity, good sportsmanship, leadership, respect for others, the importance of academics, and relate to and inspire confidence in students.
Hold regular and supervised after school practices and activities.
Work cooperatively with support groups.
Record and hand out uniforms and have students properly equipped and ready to participate.
Assist with home/school activities, attend athletic banquets, and carry emergency phone numbers and insurance forms to all activities. (Return forms at end of season.)
