UPMC Mercy is seeking a casual Interventional Technologist to support the Peripheral Interventional Radiology Department in Downtown Pittsburgh! The Interventional Technologist will work 10-hour daylight shifts, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday! This role will work a required two shifts per month, with some on-call obligations included in the scheduling. The Interventional Technologist will be included in the holiday rotation calendar throughout the year, and will be on call for a night shift (5:30 p.m. to 7 a.m.) once per month and on call for a weekend once every 6 weeks. The Interventional Technologist performs imaging procedures at a technical level, not requiring constant supervision. This role competently performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. The Peripheral IR Department specializes in sterile, invasive procedures completed with image guidance and fluoroscopy. Why UPMC Mercy? Why UPMC Imaging?
