Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Respiratory Care Required
• 5 years of progressive work experience in respiratory care Required
• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care as an RRT Upon Hire Required
• Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners as a Respiratory Care Professional Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• ACLS Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in diagnosing and treating diseases and defects of the airway and pleural space in the Bronchoscopy/Interventional Pulmonology Lab.
• Specialize in the advanced care of patients undergoing interventional bronchoscopy and pleural procedures.
• Support the development of other staff and formal learners.
