About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in Providence, RI. The ideal candidate will support complex interventional and vascular procedures while maintaining the highest standards of patient care, safety, and sterile technique in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
Experience with a wide range of interventional procedures, including:
Adrenal and renal angiography
Genitourinary angiography
Embolization procedures
Gastrostomy, nephrostomy, and cholecystostomy
Ureteral and renal artery stent placement
Uterine arterial embolization
Endovascular interventions
Scrub and circulating experience in IR
Laser-assisted procedures
Equipment setup and sterile field maintenance
Vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)
Interpretation of dysrhythmias
ARRT (R)
BLS
CCI RCIS
Active State License (as applicable)

Responsibilities

Assist physicians with interventional radiology and endovascular procedures
Scrub and circulate during procedures while maintaining a sterile field
Set up and operate interventional radiology equipment and procedure rooms
Interpret and respond appropriately to cardiac dysrhythmias
Support laser-assisted and image-guided procedures
Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and monitoring
Utilize vascular closure devices such as Perclose and StarClose
Administer and manage medications using automated dispensing systems (Omnicell)
Ensure compliance with radiation safety, infection control, and procedural protocols
Accurately document procedures and patient care per departmental standards
