About The Position
The Interventional Radiology Technologist provides advanced imaging and procedural support in a fast-paced interventional setting. This role is responsible for assisting physicians during minimally invasive, image-guided procedures while ensuring patient safety, procedural efficiency, and high-quality imaging standards.
Requirements
- Active state Radiologic Technologist license (if applicable)
- ARRT certification (preferred/required per facility standards)
- BLS certification
- Prior Interventional Radiology experience
- Ability to take weeknight and weekend call
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures
- Prepare and position patients for imaging and procedures
- Operate fluoroscopy and other radiologic equipment
- Maintain sterile field and adhere to procedural protocols
- Monitor patient condition during procedures
- Ensure proper documentation of imaging and procedural data
- Collaborate with nursing and procedural staff
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled
