Requirements
- Completed accredited Radiology Technology Program
- At least one year's experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- For safety and quality reasons, must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and fellow members of the hospital team
- Must be American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registered.
- Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license or registry eligible.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration must be obtained within 12 months of hire
- Basic Life Support
- Rotation is required to ensure 24/7 coverage
- May be expected to rotate to various shifts.
- Must be able to stay past scheduled hours when necessary to complete procedure
- As necessary for on-call

Responsibilities
- Assisting Radiologists: Collaborate with Radiologists to perform interventional procedures, including room/equipment setup and patient preparation.
- Procedure Performance & Imaging: Conduct and support complex imaging procedures (e.g., interventional radiology, angiography) utilizing specialized equipment and ALARA principles.
- Patient Care: Greet, assess, educate, and ensure patient comfort and safety from pre- to post-procedure.
- Documentation & Safety: Maintain thorough patient/procedure records, manage equipment, and adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and quality protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and provide feedback to enhance teamwork.
- Environment & Supply Management: Ensure a clean and safe work environment, address supply/equipment issues, and transport patients as needed.
- Schedule Coordination: Coordinate with the supervisor to ensure adequate staffing levels.
