About The Position
The Invasive Cardiology department at Ascension St Joseph is seeking a dedicated professional to lead the daily operations of interventional imaging services. This role is crucial in ensuring quality imaging, patient care, and efficient workflow within the department. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring patient documentation to ensure timely completion and accuracy, overseeing quality control testing, and maintaining equipment. Additionally, the position requires serving as a resource for department staff and other team members, performing staff orientation, training, and coaching, and providing input for staff performance evaluations. In this role, you will assist in positioning patients and selecting the appropriate anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Compliance with regulatory agency standards is paramount, and you will ensure the prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to the PACS system, including maintaining correct lead markers and patient data/history. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department, which includes procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, and film storage areas. This position is integral to the success of the department and requires a commitment to excellence in patient care and imaging services.
