About The Position

Step into a vital role where your imaging skills make a life-saving difference! Novant Health is seeking an Interventional Rad Tech to join our REMARKABLE acute care team. This position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, working Thursday to Sunday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with one holiday per year and no call responsibilities.

Requirements

• ARRT (R) required
• Prior Cath Lab or Interventional Procedure experience
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• High School Diploma or GED, required
• IF RT(R): Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist Program resulting in certification OR graduate of an accredited Radiological Technologist Program and currently registered by ARRT
• IF RN: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program with current RN license, required
• IF RT(R): Minimum of one year Cath Lab or Interventional Procedures, required
• IF RN: Minimum of one Year Critical Care, Cath Lab, or Interventional Procedures; required
• IF RT(R): ARRT, required
• IF RN: State RN license, required
• Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skill validation and competency testing
• IF RN: Pass Cardiac Dysrhythmias Test

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality care to patients undergoing neurovascular, peripheral vascular, interventional and vascular procedures
• Work closely with physicians to deliver critical patient care
• Maintain patient safety and comfort with professionalism and empathy
